This house, located east of the courtyard to The Bridewell, was formerly part of a prison and dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a pantiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has five bays, with the central two bays projecting forward under a pediment. There is a 20th-century canted bay window attached to the center, to the left of a pedestrian access. To the right of the center, there are two barred windows, along with one pedestrian access and a sash window on the left. The first floor has four sash windows. The pediment includes a barred grille. The roof is hipped, with a stack located on the rear slope and another on the south slope.
