Dun Cow Inn

The Dun Cow Inn is a public house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of brick, primarily in English bond, and features a plain tiled roof. The building is two stories high with a dormer attic and consists of four bays. There is a 20th-century door located to the right of the center. On the ground floor, there are three 19th-century two-light cross casements set under segmental arches. A platband runs along the first floor and continues into the returns. The first floor has four similar cross casements. The gabled roof is adorned with three sloping dormers fitted with casements. There is a ridge stack positioned to the right of the center and internal stacks at the southern gable end. The gable heads were originally shaped, but the north gable is now straight, while the south gable retains a shaped head only on the rear slope. The interior has been altered in the 1950s and later.
