Glebe Farmhouse

Glebe Farmhouse is an early 17th-century farmhouse located on the north side of Swainthorpe Church Road. It is timber framed with plastered and whitewashed wattle and daub infill. The front roof slope is covered with plain tiles, while the rear has pantiles. The south front features two storeys with five irregular bays, which is due to a chimney bay on the right. The door, which is set to the left, is sheltered by a 20th-century hood. The windows are 18th-century three-light casements, with a blank chimney bay. The upper window in the bay to the right of the chimney bay is a 20th-century addition. The farmhouse has a gabled roof with a large ridge stack on the right and a partly external gable end stack on the western side. At the rear, there is a three-storey gabled stair turret, with a brick outshut abutting it on the right and a 20th-century extension to the left.
