Description

This pair of houses, located 230 meters northeast of the Church of St. Remigius, dates from the mid-18th century. They are timber framed with brick gables and have been whitewashed. The houses feature a pantiled roof and are two stories high with a dormer attic, arranged in four symmetrical bays. At each end of the elevation, there are two plank doors, with two 3-light 18th-century casement windows situated between them. The first floor also has two similar windows. The gabled roof includes two gabled dormers, which have casement windows. A central ridge stack is present, and there is a continuous outshut at the rear. The timber frame consists of thin scantling with wide spacing.
