Description
Willow Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse with later alterations, largely modernized in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick and timber frame, with rendered and whitewashed surfaces. The south gable was rebuilt in the 20th century using brick, while the north gable has a weatherboarded apex. The steeply-pitched roof is covered with black-glazed pantiles on the east side and plain tiles on the west. The house has a rectangular plan, with single-story additions to the north and east. A brick underbuilding is present at the north-east corner. The windows are mostly 2, 3, and 4-light casements from the 20th century. A 20th-century entrance door is located at the north-east corner. The west elevation features three first-floor windows with ovolo-moulded mullions, the central window appearing repaired or replaced. A gault brick axial chimney stack is situated slightly off-centre to the south. The building holds group value in its setting.
