Description
Nos. 13 to 19 on Sussex Street are former houses that have been converted into flats. They were built in the early 19th century, with 20th-century additions at the rear. The buildings are constructed of red brick and topped with a pantile roof. They rise to three storeys and feature eight bays, with the end bays recessed by 4.5 inches. There is a passage entry at the extreme end of the building. The two central facades are symmetrical, each with a central door. The doors for Nos. 13 and 19 are located in recessed bays. The door surrounds are reeded, with corner roundels and a flat hood. The windows throughout the building are 20th-century sash windows, which include glazing bars and flat rubbed brick arches.
