TG 2209 NE SUSSEX STREET (north side) 7/849 5.6.72 Nos. 27 and 29 GV II Former houses now flats. Early C19 with C20 rear additions. Red brick. Pantile roof. 3 storeys. 5 first floor windows. No.27:- Decorated torus outer pilasters and architrave. Fluted inner pilasters with corner lion-masks. Flat hood. No. 29:- Attached Tuscan columns and architrave. C20 sash windows throughout with glazing bars and rubbed brick flat arches. Simple paired bracket eaves cornice. Hipped roof.
