Description

Nos. 83 and 85 on Pottergate are former houses that have been converted into offices. They date from the late 18th century to early 19th century and were renovated in the 20th century. The buildings are constructed of red brick and have a pantile roof. They rise to three storeys and feature seven bays. The doors at both the extreme left and right are flanked by panelled pilasters and have a reeded architrave with elliptical roundels and a flat hood. Sash windows with glazing bars are present throughout, topped with flat rubbed brick arches. A box cornice completes the design.
