Description

No. 89 on Pottergate is a house dating from the late 17th century, which was renovated in the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick and has a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and features bays. The entrance door is located on the left-hand side and has a simple reeded surround. There is a carriage entry at the far right. The ground floor has sash windows with glazing bars and rubbed brick flat arches. The first floor includes mullion and transom windows. A box cornice runs along the top. Beneath the entire block, there is a large barrel-vaulted cellar.
