Description

This is a former building of unknown original use, now offices. It dates back to the 17th century, with alterations and additions made during the 18th and 19th centuries, and further renovation in the 20th century. The building is rendered and has a pantile roof. Situated on a corner site, it is two storeys high with four bays. The left-hand door is positioned off-centre and has a panelled surround with eared inner mouldings and a keystone. Consoles support a pediment above the door. Sash windows with glazing bars and plain surrounds are found throughout the building. A parapet is present, and there are two gabled dormers featuring 3-light casements with glazing bars. The roof is hipped, with a crow-stepped north gable on Ten Bell Lane. The interior retains a 17th-century staircase and 18th-century panelling.
