Description
No. 98 Pottergate is a former house that has been converted into an office and store. It dates from the 18th century and features a rendered exterior with a plaintile roof. The building has two storeys and three widely spaced windows on the first floor. The entrance is located to the left of centre and is framed by attached Ionic columns that support a pediment. The door has a rusticated surround with a semi-circular fanlight above it, and there are five steps leading up to the entrance. To the extreme right, there is a small plain door. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and simple surrounds, while the ground floor has two casement windows on the right-hand side. The building is topped with a plain box cornice and has stepped kneelers.
