Red brick with pantile roof. 3 storeys. 7 irregularly spaced 2nd floor windows. 3 long shopfronts: No. 42. Corner site with paired plain pilasters and architrave. 44 and 48. Off-centre doors. Reeded end-pilasters and plain wide architrave. No. 52 small shop-front with right-hand glazed door with pilasters flanking door and shop-window. Dentil cornice architrave. First floor sash windows with glazing bars and segmental arches. 2nd floor sash windows beneath box cornice. Hipped roof at south-east corner.
