OLD SCHOOL COURT Nos 1-6, Former Bracondale School

II House, later a school, converted into apartments in 1999. Mid C19. Yellow brick; hipped slate roof; two brick chimneys; three storeys; three first floor windows, symmetrical. Panelled door with glazing bars to top part has plain fanlight in recessed round-headed gauged brick arch flanked by two fluted pilasters and two fluted columns supporting a hood with plain entablature and paired modillion cornice, windows have sashes with glazing bars under flat gauged brick arches throughout. Paired modillion cornice. Single-storey flat roofed extension with one door and one window to left. Bronze plaque to left of main entrance.
