Description
Nos. 29 and 29A on Bracondale is a house that has been divided into two residences. It dates from the mid-19th century and features later additions. The building is constructed of red brick and has a hipped slate roof with two brick chimneys. It stands two storeys high with a basement and has three first-floor windows. The central entrance is a half-glazed door located in a later 19th-century porch, which includes side windows, a dentilled cornice, and a parapet. The ground and first-floor windows are set in slightly projecting bays and feature large-paned sashes with horns, all under flat gauged brick arches. Above the porch, there are French windows. The building has a paired modillion cornice. To the left, there is a later two-storey extension (No. 29A) that includes an attached conservatory. The rear of the main part has 16-pane sash windows and a moulded doorcase.
