Description

Nos. 18 to 22 on Magdalen Street are mid-18th century shops featuring red brick construction and a pantile roof. The building has three storeys and five bays. The shop fronts, which date from the 19th century, are designed with simple panelled pilasters. There is a passage entry at the extreme left. The windows are 20th-century sash windows that include glazing bars and have rubbed brick flat arches above them. A fascia cornice runs along the top of the shop fronts.
