Description
Nos. 5 and 7 Magdalen Street is a shop and restaurant dating from the late 18th century, with a 17th-century range located behind No. 7. The building is rendered and features applied timber work on the gables of both properties, along with a pantile roof. The street-facing section has two storeys and includes three large dormer gables. There are 20th-century glazed shop and restaurant fronts, three sash windows with glazing bars, and two 20th-century casements on the first floor. The dormers also contain casement and sash windows. The north gable has a crow-step design. The rear range is two storeys high with a jettied first floor, featuring a central door and three 17th-century windows, along with casement windows on the first floor.
