Description
This is a building comprising a 19th-century street frontage with a 17th-century rear portion. The building is currently used as a shop and offices. The street-facing part has a painted brick facade and a flat roof, extending two storeys and two bays. It contains a 20th-century shop front and a side entrance. The first floor features sash windows with segmental arches and ovolo reveals. A dentil cornice tops the building, followed by a parapet. The rear range is constructed of brick and rendered surfaces, with a pantile roof. It is two storeys high with four windows at the first floor level. There are three 20th-century doors positioned centrally, to the left, and at the extreme left. The rear range retains some early 18th-century mullion and transome windows, along with one 19th-century sash window. A dormer window is present on the south side, incorporating a window at each end and one on the side facing west. Inside the building, there are three ceiling beams on each floor, featuring stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops.
