No. 12 Chapelfield North is a house built in 1891, featuring red brick construction and a plain tile roof. The building has three storeys and is arranged in three bays. The central entrance has a door with a rectangular fanlight and a moulded brick surround, topped with a scroll pediment and swag. Sash windows are present throughout the house. To the left of the door, there is a single-storey canted bay with a small pediment. On the right side of the first floor, there is a canted oriel window with a damaged balustrade, while the first-floor window to the left of the oriel has a keystone and a pediment. The second floor features a single window, centrally located over the two left-hand bays, with a scroll pediment and swag, and a curvilinear gable above it. The right side has a brattished cornice, and there is a small flat-roof dormer. The ends of the building have curvilinear gables with 'Tudor' style stacks.
