Description
No. 3 King Street is a house from the late 18th century, constructed of red brick with a clay tile roof. It has two storeys and attics, featuring a symmetrical three-window facade. The ground and first floor windows are sash windows with glazing bars, while the first floor windows are set in flush frames. In the attic, there are two box dormers that contain two-light casements with glazing bars. The central entrance has a six-panel door topped by a rectangular fanlight with pointed arched glazing bars. This is framed by panelled reveals, with pilasters and fluted brackets that support an open curved-sided pediment. A stucco band runs along the first floor level, and there is a moulded brick dentil cornice at the eaves. Red brick integral stacks are located at both gable ends.
