Description
Linden Lodge is a house dating from the 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features clay tile roofs. The building has two storeys and attics, and is two rooms deep, including rear blocks.
On the ground floor, there are two tripartite sash windows without glazing bars. The first floor has three earlier sash windows, which include glazing bars and moulded frames that are almost flush with the wall. All windows are topped with stuccoed heads that have keyblocks. The first-floor windows also feature ornamental cast iron balconettes. In the attic, there are two box dormers that contain two-light casements.
The entrance consists of a part-glazed door that is topped by a semi-circular fanlight with radiating glazing bars, framed by an open pediment doorcase. The building has rebuilt brick integral stacks on both gable ends.
