Description

Mill Cottages, located at 53 to 57 Yarmouth Road, is an early 18th-century, two-storey brick building that has been altered and extended over time. The exterior is limewashed. Number 53 features a three-light sash window on the first floor and a wooden doorcase with shaped brackets and an open pediment. Inside, there is a door with H hinges and straps. Number 55 has a first-floor band and a plain wooden doorcase. Both numbers 55 and 57 include four sash windows on the first floor. This building was formerly known as the Mill-house.
