Description

No 3 Market Place is a three-storey building with cellars, dating from the early 19th century. The exterior features a segmental arch over a coachway on the right side. On the second and third floors, there are three sash windows with glazing bars and flat arches; the second-floor windows are three over six sashes, while the first-floor windows are six over six sashes. The first floor also has four anchor plates.

The ground floor has a slightly projecting shop front with a panelled stallriser, a cornice with lead flashing, and a half-glazed panelled door. At the rear, there is an extension with blocked entrances along the west side.

Inside, the building contains hewn, stop-chamfered beams. Nos 1 to 4 Market Place, which are consecutive, form a group.
