MARKET PLACE (south side) No 3

GV II EXTERIOR; the building is three storeys with cellars. There is a segmental arch over a coach way to the right-hand side. There are three sash windows at the second and third floors, with glazing bars and flat arches. The second-floor windows are three over six sashes, and the first floor are six over six sashes. There are four anchor plates to the first floor.

The early C19 shop front is slightly projecting at ground floor, with a panelled stallriser, cornice with lead flashing, and a panelled door, which is half glazed. There is an extension to the rear of the building, with blocked entrances along the west side.

The interior contains hewn, stop-chamfered beams.

Nos 1 to 4 Market Place (consecutive) form a group.
