Description
Number 34 on Horsefair Green is a mid-18th century building with an 'L' plan layout. It has two storeys and features three windows on the first floor. The exterior is made of red brick with a light pattern of blue headers, and it has a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The roof is tiled, and there is a brick chimney. On the first floor, there are two-light casement windows, while the ground floor has three-light casement windows with cambered heads. The glazing bars are intact. The central doorway is topped with an open pediment supported by brackets, which is broken over a flush framed painted fanlight. The door itself has six panels. At the rear, there are gabled brick extensions. Number 34, along with numbers 35A, 35, 38, and the street wall and gates to number 38, form a group.
