Description

Number 17 on Horsefair Green is an early 18th-century building that was formerly thatched. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring two windows. The structure is made of red brick with occasional blue headers arranged in a diaper pattern. In the attic and first floor, there are two-light casement windows, while the ground floor has horizontal sliding sash windows on either side of the door, which is topped by a fascia. The glazing bars are present on both the ground and first floors. This building is part of a group that includes numbers 14 to 21, with numbers 18 to 21 being of local interest only.
