Description
No 34 Silver Street is a building from the early to mid-18th century. It has two storeys and an attic, with two windows on each floor. Originally thatched, it now features a high-pitched slate roof with brick chimneys. The exterior is made of rough cast brick, with some stone at the rear. There is a three-light casement dormer with a raking top, and the late glazed sash windows have cambered heads. The central doorway also has a cambered head and consists of six panels, with the top two being glazed. At the rear, there is a single-storey brick washhouse with a tall chimney. Inside, the building has a covered-in inglenook fireplace. No 34 Silver Street is part of a group that includes No 22 Horsefair Green and Burnham House.
