Description

16 Horsefair Green is an early 18th-century building located in Stony Stratford. It features a continuous roof line with Nos 14 and 15, and is constructed of brick with similar recent brick upper courses, displaying a light diaper pattern of blue headers. The building has a steeply pitched slate roof and stands two storeys high. There are two windows on the first floor and one window on the ground floor, which shares a lintel with the door. The first-floor windows are paired casements, while the ground floor has a three-light window. The windows include glazing bars, and there are paired casements in the dormer. It is reputed to have an inglenook fireplace. Nos 14 to 21 form a group, with Nos 18 to 21 being of local interest only.
