Description

Number 24 on High Street is an early 18th century building with a front made of color-washed brick and an old tiled roof that is gabled on the west side. The structure has two storeys and an attic, featuring a band at the first floor level. On the ground floor, there are three double-hung sash windows, two from the 19th century without glazing bars, and one that has two flush panel shutters. The first floor includes two wood mullioned two-light casements; one has a lattice with a wooden transom, and the other has glazing bars. All windows are topped with cambered relieving arches. The building has sprocket eaves and a timber-framed back wing. Numbers 24 to 26 and number 34 form a group.
