Description
Number 6 on St Mary's Street is a late 18th-century building that stands three stories tall. It features a pantiled roof and is constructed from red brick. The building has a plinth and stone cill bands at the ground and first floors. At the second floor level, there are stone mouldings along the cornice, and an open pediment sits above the slightly projecting center. The stone coping is adorned with four stone balls.
On the first floor, there is a Venetian window, while the top floor has six sash windows arranged in pairs, each with glazing bars and flat arches. The entrance boasts a six-panel door topped by an arched fanlight with interlaced glazing bars, all set within a stone case that includes three-quarter Doric columns, triglyphs, and an open pediment. To the right, there is a mid-19th-century wooden office window featuring consoles and an entablature, along with a central glazed entrance that has an arched door.
This building is part of a group that includes numbers 6 to 22 (even).
