Description

No 10, known as Crowe, is a building likely dating from the early 19th century. It is three storeys high and constructed of brick, which has been limewashed. The building features three sash windows on the first and second floors, with flush frames and stuccoed flat arches that include keys. The glazing bars are still present on the second floor. There is a wide passageway on the left side of the building. On the right, there is an early 19th-century wooden shop front, characterized by slender reeded pilasters and an entablature. The roof is low-pitched and covered with pantiles. Nos 2 to 16 (even) form a group with this building.
