Description

This is a late 18th-century barn located at Grove Farm. The walls are made of red brick, and the roof is covered with red pantiles. The barn features five bays and has end gables with tumbled brick parapets. There are honeycomb brick ventilation holes arranged over two storeys. Some of the windows are from the 19th century and made of cast iron, retaining original glazing bars. The gables also display 'CT' purlin irons. The barn has a roof from the 18th century, supported by tie beams and curved wind braces. There are two entrances leading to the threshing floors.
