Description

The Church of St Helen is a ruined parish church located in East Beckham. It dates back to the medieval period and is constructed of flint. The original plan of the church has been lost, and the site is now completely obscured by vegetation. The remains are reported to be 1 meter thick, L-shaped, and approximately 5 meters long. In 1890, the church was described as having been in a ruinous state for over 200 years before it was demolished, with some of the stone being removed to construct a new church in West Beckham.
