Description
The barn at Hall Fen Farm dates from the mid-17th century and was partly rebuilt in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick and cut flint, topped with a thatched roof. The building features full-height double doors located to the left of center, framed by flat brick pilasters. To the right, there are two blocked ventilation slits. The barn has a gabled roof, with the east gable wall having been rebuilt. The west gable wall is supported by stepped diagonal buttresses. At the rear, there is a thatched entrance outshut. The roof structure includes tie beams with queen struts supporting the lower of three tiers of butt purlins, along with collars. The house associated with the barn is not listed.
