Description

This barn, located 30 meters north-west of Hall Farmhouse, dates from the late 16th century. It is constructed from whole flints with brick dressings and features a roof made of black glazed pantiles. The west side has a square central door flanked by two ventilation slits on either side. To the left of the door, there are two 18th-century brick buttresses, with an additional buttress at the south-west corner. The barn has a gabled roof, while the east side includes later outbuildings. The gables are pierced with five ventilation slits, which are splayed on the interior. The roof, dating from the 18th century, consists of tie beams, principals, two tiers of taper-tenoned butt purlins, and collars.
