Description

This barn, located 40 meters west of Hall Farmhouse, dates from the 16th century with an 18th-century addition to the west. It is constructed of whole flints with brick dressings and features a thatched roof. The western portion has opposing double doors flanked by brick pilasters, while the eastern half contains a blocked doorway and slit ventilation lights. The barn has a gabled roof that is hipped to the east, and the western half displays a dentil eaves cornice. Inside, the roof structure consists of tie beams on arched braces, with some braces missing, as well as principals and one tier of through purlins, and queen struts supporting the principals and collars.
