Description
The Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage located on the west side of Front Street in Binham. It features a cement-rendered exterior and a black pantile roof. The building is two stories high, with a two-story wing on the left side. On the ground floor, there are two windows, and the first floor also has two windows. The entrance is marked by a wooden doorcase with an architrave that has bolection moulding, roundels at the corners, and an entablature. The door itself is an early 19th-century five-panel design, with the uppermost panels being glazed and raised and fielded. The cottage has brick parapets and a 20th-century stack on the right, while there is a stack on the left party wall with the wing. The ground floor features two casement windows with glazing bars, and the first floor has two sash windows. The roof of the wing is covered with red pantiles.
