Description

No. 1 The Green is a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. They are finished with whitewashed render and have a roof covered in red pantiles. The cottages are two stories high. On the ground floor, there are two 2-light casement windows with plain glass and a single glazing bar. The first floor features two plate glass sash windows, each with a central glazing bar. There are also two round-headed doors, each divided into two panels, with one panel having a quadrant head and the other being boarded. The building has brick dentil eaves, coped parapets, and two end stacks. It is included for its group value.
