Description

This is an 18th-century cottage located on the east side of Front Street in Binham. The construction combines flint with a red brick façade, and is topped with a red pantile roof. It is a single-story building with an attic. The front features two 2-light casement windows with glazing bars, each with a rough header arch. A boarded door is accessed by steps, framed by brick quoins and an arch. Additional features include brick and re-used stone end quoins and a brick dentil cornice. Two 2-light casement dormers are visible in the roof, and a chimney stack is located on the south side with a lean-to. A brick and flint pantiled wing extends from the north end. The south gable suggests an earlier, late 17th or early 18th-century cottage was re-roofed.
