Description
15A Austin Street is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof on the front (west) side, with pantiles on the rear. The building has two storeys and a doorway located in the gable end facing the street, which includes a panelled door and an overlight with glazing bars, framed by a plain timber surround. Above the door, there is a 20th-century fixed window. The facade has three window bays, all fitted with sashes that have glazing bars and gauged skewback arches, although the upper left window has been blocked. The house has a gabled roof and a rebuilt stack positioned along the eaves line of the east (rear) roof slope.
