Description

15A Claremont Hill is a house that dates from the 18th century and is built over an earlier structure, possibly from the 17th century. It features a brick exterior over a timber frame, with a stone plinth and a plain tiled roof. The house has two storeys and a two-window range. There is a doorway on the left side, which is likely not in its original position, and it is recessed and raised up steps. The building has a blocked window and two 2-light casement windows, each with single ring cambered heads. The right-hand window may have been inserted in what was once a doorway. Inside, the timber frame is exposed in the passage to the left and in the rear gable.
