Description
No. 15 Claremont Hill is a house dating from the 18th century, built over an earlier structure that may be from the 17th century. It features a brick exterior over a timber frame and has a plain tiled roof. The house is two stories tall and has a two-window range. To the left, there is a recessed doorway that is raised up steps, topped by a high relieving arch. The ground floor has two late 20th-century bow windows added in existing openings, while the upper floor has two-light casement windows. On the right side, an arched entrance provides access to a rear passage. The lower gable wall reveals an exposed timber truss, and there is a stack on the rear wall.
