Description
Claremont House is a former vicarage, now used as offices, dating from the early 18th century with some alterations from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of brick and topped with a Welsh slate roof. It stands three storeys high and features a four-window range of 12-pane sash windows, which have flat-arched finely gauged brick heads. To the right, there is a doorway with sidelights set in a pedimented case, complete with a fanlight above. The window above the door is framed by a stressed moulded stone architrave. The left section of the building has a full-height bow. It is adorned with coped Dutch gables, a moulded stone cornice, and a parapet at the eaves, along with gable end stacks.
