Description

No. 11, Bell Lane is a house with an 18th-century facade built onto an earlier core. It is constructed of painted brick with timber framing, has a roof of 20th-century plain tiles, and a brick stack to the rear with a 20th-century addition. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window front. The windows are mostly 19th-century casements, with a central fixed light, and have moulded brick eaves. The entrance is on the left-hand side, leading to a 20th-century stable door, with a 19th-century shop window to the right, both under a timber lintel. To the right are two 19th-century casements, each under a gauged brick segmental arch. The right-hand return side is rendered and includes a tripartite fixed window and a 20th-century plank door beneath a simple hood.
