Description
Swan House is a house located in Ludlow, featuring a late 18th-century front that conceals an earlier core. The building is constructed of painted brick and timber-frame, topped with old plain tiles and a large brick stack at the front center. It has two storeys and an attic, with a two-window range consisting of 3/6 sash windows set beneath segmental arches. There are two weatherboarded gable dormers, each with 2-light casements. The central entrance is a 4-panel door, which is sheltered by a moulded flat hood supported by plain pilasters. This entrance is flanked by 8/8 sash windows, also under segmental arches, and there is a vertical straight joint visible. The right gable reveals exposed timber-frame with brick infill.
