Description

The railings and gates located to the south and east of St Nicholas' Churchyard in King's Lynn were constructed in 1749. They are made of cast and wrought iron and feature a brick plinth wall topped with stone coping. The design includes diamond section verticals positioned between square section stiles that are topped with urn finials. Next to No. 8 Pilot Street, there is a set of gates that share similar design details but have a reduced scrolled overthrow.
