Description

No. 28 Pilot Street is a house from the early 19th century, built of yellow brick with a slate roof. It has two storeys and a dormer attic, arranged in two bays. The entrance features a 20th-century glazed door on the left, which is sheltered by a plain hood supported by consoles, replacing an earlier pediment. To the right, there is a horned plate-glass sash window beneath a red-brick gauged skewback arch. On the first floor, there are two similar sash windows separated by a blind window. The house has a gabled roof with one gabled dormer and a ridge stack to the south that it shares with No. 26.
