Description

No. 17 Consort Road is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a low-pitched, hipped slate roof with projecting eaves. The building has two storeys and three bays. The central doorway is round-arched and includes a six-panelled door flanked by detached, fluted Doric columns beneath a cornice head, topped with a decorated fanlight. The ground-floor sash windows have gauged brick round arches and "Gothick" glazing bars, set within round-arched recesses. The first-floor sash windows also feature glazing bars and are adorned with moulded wooden architraves that include decorative blind boxes. The interior has not been inspected.
