Description

The forecourt wall and gate piers to Wallington Hall, built in 1790, enclose a rectangle to the south of the house. The structure features brick walls with square section central gate and corner piers topped with spherical stone finials on incurving square plinths. The walls are designed to sweep down at the front and have flat coping, maintaining full height at the returns.
