Description

North Lodge to Stow Hall is a lodge built in 1883. It features coursed carstone tiles with gault brick dressings and a slate roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic, set on a brick plinth and designed in a gabled cruciform plan. There is an arched door located behind a timber porch that has two arched bays. Most of the windows are from the 20th century and have elaborate brick architraves. The lodge has decorated quoins and a dentil eaves cornice above a roll moulded brick string. The gables are adorned with pierced bargeboards, and there are two groups of stacks with twin diamond flues.
