Description
South Lodge is a lodge built in 1868, constructed from ashlar stone with some areas rendered, and features hipped and canted plain tile roofs. It has a stone plinth and a single ridge stack. The building is a single storey plus attics and has an L-shaped plan with three bays. The entrance is located at the rear. The front of the lodge has a projecting canted central bay that contains three glazing bar casements. Above this bay is a datestone inscribed with '1868' and a monogram. To the left of the central bay is a single glazing bar casement, while to the right is a 20th-century casement set in a recessed panel. Above the main façade, there are two flat-roofed dormers, each featuring a margin light casement.
