Description
The former kitchen wing at Osberton Hall, built around 1872 by W. Burn for G. F. Foljambe, is now used as a swimming pool and service rooms. The building is constructed of stucco with a hipped slate roof and features ashlar dressings, a stepped plinth, a first floor band, eaves, a deep moulded cornice, and a parapet. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The east end has two 20th-century glazing bar sash windows and, above them, two plain sashes. To the left, there is a 20th-century flat-roofed extension that is rendered and has ashlar coping, along with three round-headed French windows. The south-east side features a 20th-century glazed arcade with three French windows. Above this, there is a central two-stage octagonal timber cupola, which has a moulded cornice, a leaded dome with lucarnes, and an obelisk finial. This building is included for its group value only.
